Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features and services using Ruby on Rails and Angular/TypeScript
• Write clean, readable, maintainable, and testable code while enhancing existing features
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Communicate with stakeholders from the customer side, mostly engineers
• Perform code reviews and contribute to technical documentation

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Ruby and 3+ years of experience in the language
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other major cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Solid understanding of algorithms and design patterns
• Knowledge of OOP/OOD
• Web application development experience
• Understanding of databases and SQL
• Ability to work autonomously and handle ambiguous tasks
• Excellent communication skills in English, with a minimum proficiency level of B2

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Angular
• Experience with Google internal tools and systems
