Middle Manual Tester

We are looking for a skilled Middle Manual Tester to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions. This role focuses on policy administration applications like Guidewire Policy Center and Portals, with an emphasis on system integration, regression testing, and creating a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews and analyses of system specifications to extract and document testing requirements
• Contribute to creating and maintaining functional test cases, data validation procedures, and test scripts
• Collaborate with QA engineers to execute test plans
• Perform manual test executions and report outcomes clearly
• Identify, document, and communicate defects, bugs, and errors to development teams
• Assist in documenting and monitoring testing phases like functional and regression testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to support quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance tester
• Understanding of QA methodologies and some practical testing experience in the Insurance industry
• Basic testing experience with UI, web services, and batch-based integrations, including web portals
• Familiarity with coding/scripting languages such as VBScript, XML, SQL, etc
• Exposure to automation testing tools like Selenium, HP QTP, etc
• Basic Quality Assurance experience with Guidewire solutions in the P&C Policy lifecycle
• Experience in Rating
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at a B1+ level

Nice to have

• Familiarity with tools like Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM) for test management
