Senior Security Engineering Manager at BairesDev
We are looking for a Senior Security Engineering Manager to lead and scale our security efforts. You’ll be responsible for defining and executing the security vision, managing a team of security engineers, and driving initiatives to protect complex systems and data at scale.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage a team of security engineers, fostering a culture of security excellence.
- Develop and implement security policies, standards, and frameworks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and business units to ensure comprehensive security solutions.
- Drive security audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.
- Oversee incident response processes, investigations, and root cause analysis.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging threats, and security innovations.
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years of experience in IT security, including leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in network, system, and application security.
- Strong track record in designing and implementing security architectures.
- Experience with security standards, frameworks, and compliance (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).
- Proficiency in scripting or programming for security automation.
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and project planning skills.
- Advanced level of English.
