Senior Security Engineer at BairesDev

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our team. You will lead efforts to protect and secure complex systems, working closely with development teams and other engineers to ensure a high standard of security across all platforms.

What You’ll Do:

- Design and implement security measures and controls for applications, networks, and systems.

- Lead and conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability analysis.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices within software development lifecycles.

- Monitor and respond to security incidents, providing in-depth analysis and remediation.

- Stay informed about evolving threats and implement innovative solutions to mitigate security risks.

What we are looking for:

- 4+ years of experience in IT security or a related field.

- Deep understanding of network, application, and system security.

- Hands-on experience with security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners.

- Strong expertise in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

- Proven track record in conducting code reviews, automated testing, and applying security best practices.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Advanced level of English.
