Tech Lead

We are looking for a Tech Lead to join our team, guiding our engineers and partnering with Product and Tech leaders to continuously evolve our solutions. We need a highly organized, communicative, and proactive professional who is ready to tackle challenges and foster technical excellence across the company. And you can work remotely from anywhere in the world!

A typical workday might include:

• Guiding engineering teams to find and execute the best technical solutions for different scenarios;
• Partnering with product teams to refine, develop, and release product backlog items;
• Collaborating with other technical leaders to evolve the technical backlog;
• Fixing and adjusting existing technical solutions;
• Participating in technical discussions to seek the best viable solutions;
• Supporting activities to ensure smooth operation of our products, including investigating and resolving problems.

Indispensable Requirements:

• Fluent Portuguese;
• Advanced English;
• Previous experience in a Tech Lead position;
• Strong hands-on experience with the Java platform, relational databases, and automated testing in Unix-based environments;
• Relevant cloud platform experience, preferably AWS;
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns;
• Solid knowledge of test-driven development and unit testing techniques;
• Familiarity with distributed systems development, cloud computing, and use of IaaS.
  

Additional Qualifications:

• Previous experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably CloudFormation);
• Experience with web scraping;
• Knowledge and experience with Docker.
