Remote AI/ML Team Lead

This  is a full-time, home-based position, offering you the chance to work  with a talented team of professionals from around the globe.

Responsibilities:  

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions, focusing on Generative AI, Deep Learning, and MLOps.
  
• Work  closely with Sales and Business Development teams to consult directly  with potential and existing clients, understanding their AI needs and  proposing tailored solutions. 
• Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment with business goals. 
• Architect and build scalable, high-performance AI models and infrastructures in a cloud-based environment. 
• Engage in hands-on AI/ML development, ensuring project success beyond oversight. 
• Contribute to cutting-edge R&D initiatives, including service integration with emerging frameworks and platforms. 
• Ensure robust MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and optimization. 
• Assist  with the technical resolution of issues on mission-critical production  systems, embracing the philosophy: "you build it, you own it, you run  it." 
• Develop AI applications involving Audio, Video and 3D content. 
• Stay up to date with the latest AI research and integrate SOA techniques and frameworks into development processes.
  

Requirements:  

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML development. 
• Expertise in Python, with C++ experience being a plus. 
• Strong experience in cloud-based architectures/infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 
• Proven experience in Generative AI and Deep Learning, with hands-on experience in MLOps using frameworks such as MLflow, Azure ML, or AWS SageMaker. 
• Hands-on experience building AI/ML models for Conversational AI, Text-to-SQL, Audio, and 3D Video applications. 
• Experience  in building workflows for automated data preparation, curation, and  annotation, including secure, scalable storage and retrieval for model  training. 
• Experience in fine-tuning models, training, validating, testing, and deploying them in production settings. 
• Master’s degree in AI, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. 
• Proven  ability to lead technical teams, drive software development processes,  mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality deliverables in alignment with  business goals. 
• Exceptional  communication skills with the ability to translate technical AI  concepts into business-oriented discussions for clients and  stakeholders. 
• Strong client-facing skills, with experience in AI consulting, pre-sales support, or technical advisory roles. 

Desired Qualifications:  

• Experience  in building and fine-tuning models for image, text, audio, and video  processing (e.g., shot/scene detection, captions, object labeling,  attention scoring). 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote, global team. 
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
