Junior Security Engineer at BairesDev
We are looking for a Junior Security Engineer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to safeguarding complex systems, collaborating with a world-class security team, and growing your expertise in cybersecurity.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in implementing security measures and protocols for network, application, and system security.
- Work with security tools and frameworks to monitor and analyze potential vulnerabilities and threats.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices.
- Participate in security assessments, penetration testing, and incident response activities.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and tools.
What we are looking for:
- 1+ years of experience in IT security or related areas.
- Basic knowledge of network and system security concepts.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
