Data Engineer Technical Lead at BairesDev
We are looking for a hands-on leader to join our dynamic Data Engineering Team. In this role, you will develop, analyze, and maintain data processing systems critical to the company's core processes. You will lead a highly skilled and collaborative team, working on the company's most critical systems and directly contributing to our value stream.

What You’ll Do:
- Refine and develop data processing systems, ensuring all artifacts are up-to-date, including documentation, code, deployment, testing, and monitoring.
- Maintain current processes, both legacy and new, by tracking and resolving bugs and implementing necessary evolutions.
- Prepare for and lead scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning sessions, demos, and retrospectives as the technical leader of the team.
- Assess current processes and propose new approaches, improvements, and changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze data to ensure accuracy and investigate business cases to support decision-making processes.
Here’s what we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer.
- 3+ years of experience with Python.
- 3+ years of experience with Spark/Spark SQL.
- 3+ years of experience with Databricks.
- 3+ years of experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Technical Leader.
- Advanced English level.
