UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team through Somewhere's Managed Service model. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in user interface and user experience design, helping craft intuitive, visually compelling experiences across web and mobile platforms.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and leadership to transform concepts into polished, high-performing designs that meet business objectives and delight users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and iterate user-centric web and mobile application interfaces.
• Create wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and final high-fidelity UI designs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless translation of designs into products.
• Maintain and enhance our design system, UI standards, and style guides.
• Advocate for user needs while balancing business goals and technical constraints.
• Operate effectively in Agile/Scrum environments and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Participate in design reviews, feedback sessions, and rapidly integrate feedback.
• Ensure all designs are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, UX processes, and final product designs across web and mobile.
• Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
• Exceptional communication skills, with experience working on distributed, remote teams.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with development teams and senior stakeholders.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills and executional excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for custom web and mobile application development projects.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Basic understanding of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Knowledge of WordPress design best practices is a plus.
