Business Development Manager
What we're looking for
Rain is seeking an experienced analytical and connected Business Development Manager who has an established network within the fintech and financial services space. The right candidate is great at developing, owning and managing large partner relationships and strategic ecosystem initiatives. The right candidate will possess a detailed understanding of financial services and fintech products. Ideally you have experience building partnerships for and selling products related to financial services or crypto like KYC products, issuing solutions, BaaS, crypto wallet, custody infrastructure, etc.
We are looking for high performers that can help us grow and strengthen our partnerships and further develop our sales cycle. The role will allow the successful candidate to join a fast growing team with a product that our customers love. You will be joining a rocketship at the earliest possible point and be a part of supercharging the growth of the company.
What you'll do
- You will be one of the core members of our operations team with the opportunity to contribute to various pieces of our organizational growth.
- Landing and growing strategic partnerships
- The trusted expert advisor and thought leader to 3rd party partners about all things related to Rain
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver events, content, and offers
- Create robust activation and growth programming
- Delivering on a set of ambitious company-level business objectives
- Ensuring clear and articulate communication in both written and oral form including sharing documentation, soliciting feedback and maintaining deal hygiene in sales tools
What you will bring to Rain
- BA/BS required; advanced degree is a plus
- 6+ years of Business Development or related experience
- Ability to work cross-functionally across teams and within the deal lifecycle
- Ability to structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems, as well as deliver impact against concrete business goals.
- Proven track record of complex problem solving and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical skills and team player
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese
Desirable but not mandatory:
- Exposure to B2B sales
- Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce or other CRMs
- Experience working in both U.S. and LATAM
- Experience with or interest in fintech, crypto and/or blockchain
