As a Bookkeeper, you will find satisfaction in managing and executing a range of financial activities, including:

• Take part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process
• Assist with improving, developing, documenting, and implementing accounting and
• finance related policies and procedures to support the company’s scale
• Manage and comply with government reporting requirements, statutory financial
• statements and tax filings, VAT, Corporate Income Tax, (SPED; Nota Fiscal; PIS/COFINS)
• Focus is the Brazilian tax regulations and how to interact with the Governmental platforms.
• Prepare and assist with internal reports and reconciliations
• Ad-hoc projects
• Work with external auditors
  

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least 3 years of accounting experience,
• preferably with previous audit experience
• Well-organized with ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic
• environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to details
• High Proficiency with Excel
• Experience with Netsuite (advantage)
• Team player, strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced English level 
• Advanced Spanish level will be a plus.
