Technical Writer

About The Team

The Education & Documentation team is responsible for helping clients and partners worldwide get all the information they might need to successfully use VTEX to power their businesses. This is currently done mainly through our Help Center and Developer Portal, but can include any learning material distributed in a scalable way. We operate as a unified product chapter, with each Technical Writer being assigned to a squad that supports a small number of product teams. We ensure that the style and tone of our technical documentation are aligned with our brand, that our online training courses, community-generated content and documentation are seamlessly integrated and act as advocates for documentation culture and excellence within VTEX.

Who You Are

• You have entry-level experience in technical writing and/or working in communications, technology, information management, editorial, or academic roles.
• You have a natural drive to learn new skills and share knowledge with others and are interested in deeply understanding the business and technologies that power VTEX.
• You are organized, responsible, self-motivated, and eager to work in a remote-first environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
• You thrive on investigating, collaborating with teams, and communicating with different roles so as to effectively seek information and share context.
• You have strong communication skills and can explain concepts clearly.
• You are a proficient writer in Portuguese and, preferably, also english,
