Strategic Payments Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead innovations in acquiring and processing products, focusing on developing and optimizing payment solutions that meet market demands and drive competitive advantage for the company
• Make data-driven decisions, utilizing data analytics to identify operational efficiency improvements and support strategic decisions that enhance product performance and business growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement payment solutions, building robust business cases to ensure that innovations are viable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives
• Manage and develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the payments ecosystem, including payment networks, BACEN, acquirers, and other partners
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and create P&L statements to ensure the financial feasibility of new payment products, ensuring they are profitable and strategically sound
• Ensure compliance with payment industry regulations, working closely with regulatory bodies to ensure that all products meet required standards

Requirements

• Experience in financial product management;
• Experience in fintechs, acquirers or sub-acquirers;
• Proven experience in payment processing products;
• In-depth knowledge of the credit card processing market, including regulations, market trends, and consumer behavior;
• Experience building business cases to justify innovations in financial products, focusing on efficiency and differentiation in the market;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Advanced knowledge of P&L creation and financial analysis;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced and growing environment;
• Experience with large data bases and analytics;
• Advanced SQL and Excel;
• Average english or spanish
