SEO Copywriter
Responsibilities:
- Perform keyword research using aHrefs, Google Keyword Planner & Google Search, and analyze competitor´s content according to topics suggested by SEO Team but also based on your topic discovery.
- Outline, draft, edit & optimize content pieces for use on a variety of Open English channels such as Landing Pages, Blog Articles, Social Posts and occasionally Emails.
- Publish written blog articles directly in WordPress CMS under minimal supervision. For Landing Pages submit a copy for review & approval to SEO Lead & Brand Managers.
- Produce content that maintains the unique voice, talking points, and high quality associated with Open English.
- Plan and Implement a content calendar to manage content production and plan accordingly based on brand marketing campaigns.
- Plan new content combining creative and data-driven insights.
- Produce ready for production work with minimal changes required.
- Develop an understanding of the industry and the role his/her expertise plays in the industry.
- Keep abreast of current events, social/digital media trends and any target market industry trends that impact business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience creating and implementing innovative and highly intuitive copy within a corporation or interactive agency.
- Bilingual in English and Portuguese or Spanish and Portuguese.
- Possesses a deep passion and understanding of SEO.
- Plus Points if you know how to use excel & vlookup
