UK Marketing Intern
About the Role
This remote Marketing Intern role sits within Rocket Lawyer UK’s Legal Content and Marketing Team, where you’ll work with legal, business, and marketing professionals. This is part-time work, 30h/week.
As a Marketing Intern, you will collaborate with the UK Marketing Team in all stages of marketing campaigns. You will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.
This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter a fast-paced work environment. You’ll also gain a broader understanding of the legal services and technology industries.
The Marketing Intern will be an outcome-driven individual who is expected to support the creation, ongoing maintenance, improvement and promotion of products and services. We build world-class services for our customers (including individuals, landlords, and SMEs) and it's vital that our products are delivered and marketed with quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of publishing new and updated content written by the Marketing Team on Rocket Lawyer UK’s website.
- Contribute to research and analysis into marketing best practices and techniques for improving marketing strategies (eg SEO and product marketing) and help to action these.
- Work with marketing platforms (eg Trustpilot) to collect customer feedback and reviews for marketing purposes.
- Support any research efforts related to product marketing including competitive analysis.
- Help develop and create social media posts (eg by contributing to research, design and copywriting elements).
- Conduct research into marketing trends, issues, and thoughts to share with the Marketing Team.
- Process customer feedback to enable the Marketing Team to use this for marketing purposes and to improve Rocket Lawyer’s products.
- Proactively identify areas of personal improvement and work with your manager to strengthen your skills.
- Build an understanding of SEO and content marketing.
Requirements
- A passion for the marketing industry and its best practices.
- An interest in different marketing techniques, specifically SEO.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Fluency in verbal and written English. The role will require 100% communication, written and verbal, in English.
- Strong research skills.
- A team-player mindset and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals.
- Strong organizational skills and confidence in taking charge of your own workload.
