Remote 2D/3D Geometry Algorithm Developer

What your day-to-day will look like:

Develop and implement cutting-edge algorithms for 2D/3D geometry and computational geometry problems.
Work on geometry-related aspects of CAD software development, including designing new features and optimizing performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and product managers, to create robust and scalable solutions.
Analyze requirements and provide innovative solutions for complex geometric modeling tasks.
Optimize and debug geometry algorithms for efficiency and accuracy.
Contribute to research and development efforts in the field of computational geometry and algorithm design.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on geometry-related challenges.

The skills and traits we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong expertise in 2D/3D geometry algorithms, computational geometry, and numerical methods.
Experience in CAD software development or related fields is highly desirable.
Proficiency in programming languages like C++, Python, or similar, with a focus on performance and scalability.
Familiarity with geometry libraries (e.g., CGAL, Open CASCADE, or similar) is a strong plus.
Experience with cross-platform development tools and frameworks such as Qt, CMake, and scripting (e.g., Bash).
Solid understanding of mathematical principles behind geometry modeling and transformations.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
